BRITISH COLUMBIA BIG GAME HUNTS

Our British Columbia outfitter runs a First Class operation.  The base camp is northwest of Ft. St. Johns and is surrounded by glaciers, high mountain peaks, rivers, and streams.   His two areas combined total 3500 square miles of game rich territory on the East slope of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.  Stone Sheep, Elk, Mt. Goat, Mt. Caribou, Moose, Black Bear, Grizzly Bear, and Wolf can all be hunted in the same area alone, or as combo hunts. 

Stone Sheep continue to be one of North America's most sought after trophies. The rams in this area have continually produced record book trophies, including the world record Chadwick Ram. The sheep are hunted in elevations that range from 3500 ft. to 6500 ft. These are horseback hunts, but physical condition is very important to give the hunter the best possible advantage. The rams will average 38-39 inches with heavy bases and over 85% success rates. This is a 6 pt. or better area for Elk, and has a 95% success rate on bulls that average 300 B&C. Hunt Elk during the prime bugling season! Moose hunters are 90% successful with racks measuring 50-58 inches every season. The success rate on Goats continues to be 95% or better every season! This majestic specie can be found high on the mountain tops. Populations are large and the quality is excellent. Good physical condition is very important in completing these hunts. Horses can take you to the base of the mountains and hiking up to the Goats can be a very challenging and rewarding experience. A first class operation in some of the best Big Game country in B.C., makes for a dream hunt second to none.

The main Camp sits on 1/2 section of deeded land on the edge of the Rockies and is home to a world class resort style lodge. This remote, 10,000 square foot, multi-activity lodge caters to the eco-tourist, adventure traveler, angler and hunting client. The lodge includes all amenities found at a resort and enables you to enjoy true wilderness at its finest. Main camp will spoil you and your non-hunting guests with great cooking, a full spa-facility and excellent hunting.

"Head Camp" is located in the head water region of the Prophet River. Here, the cook serves hearty meals in a comfortable kitchen. Wranglers are on hand to care for the horses. The log cabins are dry and warm. They accommodate hunters comfortably and are equipped with wood heating stoves, sleeping bags and mattresss.

"Richard's Creek", is located at the head of Richard's Creek. Radio telephones at the Prophet and Richard's Creek camps keep us in touch with the Main Camp at all times. With 15 additional satellite camps fitted with cabins and friendly and knowledgeable crew you are assured that your hunt will be a great experience. Tent camps and back pack hunts are available if necessary to make your hunt and adventure more successful. With horses to make your days easier and your load lighter you truly can sit back and enjoy your self.
